Travel and Passport Requirements

 

Dates:
Wednesday, November 9 to Saturday, November 12

Passport information:
In order to board the ship, you must present a valid passport as part of your pre-boarding security screening at the Port of Miami. No one will be able to board without a passport - no exceptions. 

In order to board, you will need:

  1. Valid Passport (cannot expire prior to 11/30/16)

  2. All Visa, Greencard, and immigration documentation for non-US citizens. Please speak to your local consulate regarding proper documentation to travel in the US and Bahamas.

  3. Your Summit at Sea boarding confirmation. We will send this to you a few weeks prior to the event via email.

  4. Any medication and other important personal items needed for multi-day travel.

Arrival logistics:
We recommend arriving no later than 2p on Wednesday, November 9. This arrival time will ensure ample time for you to embark, get settled, and dive into the first day's programming. 

Arrival airport:
We recommend flying into Miami International Airport (MIA) which is a 20-minute drive from the Port of Miami. You can also fly into Fort Lauderdale International International Airport (FLL), which is a 60-minute drive from the Port of Miami.

Boarding:
You may board the ship from 11a-9p on Wednesday, November 9.
We will depart from the Port of Miami, Terminals B&C: 1751 Cruise Blvd, Miami, Florida, 33132.

We will issue you boarding materials prior to the event indicating from which terminal you should board.

Disembarkation:
We will host disembarkation from 9AM-11AM on Saturday, November 12.

Departure logistics:
We recommend booking flights no earlier than 1pm on Saturday, November 12 to ensure ample time to disembark and head to the airport. If you wish to join us for post-event programming in Miami on Saturday evening, we recommend a Sunday, November 13 departure.
